It’s not necessary. There is no law saying that you must have lighting over the sink. It is just your preference. I’m not sure if you’re a man or woman, but I love having lighting over the sink because that is where I do my makeup, because my mirror is above my sink. It’s all your choice. Your bathroom, your choice! Have fun!
